Mentor Connection Service

A special feature of this website is the Mentor Connection Service, which is only available to users that register by firstly confirming that they are HIV positive, and then completing the registration form in full.  Users of this service must be 18 years or older.

An IMAS Mentor is defined as an adult male or female that is living successfully with HIV, which means that they keep their medical appointments, take their medicine properly, avoid reinfection, and are or have connected with support.

An IMAS Mentee is defined as an adult male or female that is newly diagnosed with HIV, previously lost to follow up care, or just in need of support.

Qualified users that wish to become a Mentor or Mentee understand that they do so strictly on a volunteer basis and will not be compensated by Diamond Life Impact Projects in any way.  Diamond Life Impact Projects does not vet or screen users that become Mentors or Mentees, and therefore takes no responsibility for their actions.  All users that utilise this service understand and agree that they do so strictly at their own risk.

While we endeavour to provide a viable and beneficial service, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the quality, experience, reliability, suitability, qualification, sustainability or legitimacy of the Mentors and Mentees.  We encourage all users of the service to do so with honesty, integrity and in the best interest of the community, and request that any abuse of the service be reported to us with immediate effect via email at to help us eliminate bad influences and experiences.

In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the use of this service.
